GOVERNMENT EMPIRE
It started out as an idea, the idea sparked and so started the dream of Government Empire, a vision of how things could be, to transcend above what has been achieved before, I have taken the baton, now watch me go, reach for the stars because the higher you set the bar, the further you will reach, even if you don’t quite touch it. For too long, there have been a lot of misconception regarding the music scene, so with that in mind and our motivation to be that positive example that others can follow, so the aim at Government Empire is to focus music in a positive light, highlighting the plight of life in the twenty first century, we intend to work with/develop artists, producers, writers etc of all levels, be it a young lady or gentleman with only a dream and a talent, making that dream a reality is our goal, our desire in a sense is to prove that “anything is possible†that statement in itself is a reflection of, the unwritten motto or code of what we believe in You could be an established artist who simply wants to be a part of something positive But on a whole, we don’t wish to limit ourselves solely to the music industry, like the name suggest, we are creating/building an empire, and any building needs a strong foundation, so we aim to do that from the bottom up, with people that share the same desire and belief and aspiration, touching all aspects of the entertainment industry, be you a writer, a singer, a musician, what ever your ability or talent, you are welcome within the government empire, as long as progress, positivity and entertainment is your goal. We need to eradicate the negative cloud surrounding certain genre of music and even areas of the community Rest assured, we don’t intend to preach or dictate, we aim to keep music fun and uplifting, but also positive, we are more than just performers, entertainers or stars, we are role models all of us and have to conduct ourselves in that manner, influencing positive changes and attitude, because I (GRM) have been in the industry a very long time and I have witness first hand the influence we have on our fans, and the influence of our lifestyles, so with the help of god I will be doing my best to not revisit the mistakes of my peers. Under the name peace in the community, the aim was to represent a positive influence on/within the community, not just the one we live in, my thoughts is that (in terms of the domino effect) we start within the community we live in and then hope that the idea takes off and carry on with the same momentum and dedication. I have had moments when I can visualise the after effect of this dream, communities pulling in the same direction, with a common goal, to make our community safe for our children, so I intend to use all medium, to exploit all revenues, if it means this dream becomes a reality.
