It's the autumn of 1990 as Rotterdam based Composer and guitarist Roy
would start writing and arranging the music and lyrics for his new band. After months of rehearsals the band achieved the sound they where after and early 1991 the members decided to name the band 'SAVIOUR'
'SAVIOUR' was basically divined: Roy on guitar and vocals being escorted by his younger brothers Ryan on drums, Kenneth
on Bass and an childhood friend on keys. Around 1992 the man behind the keys got replaced by an exceptionally talented relative. This late cousin named Danny would truly reveal his skills on the guitar and he proved to be a true gain in the years to come.
'SAVIOUR' was mostly playing Hard rock and Trash metal orientated music,
but they came up with some of the most beautifull powerballads as well.
In 1993 the band recorded an album called "Abracadabra" which was released by the Temptations music label. which resulted in many gigs and media attention all over Holland.
It was the summer of 2006 that Roy came up with a whole bunch of fresh and out of the box' musical ideas. This ideas eventually came to life when the former SAVIOUR / 3RD EYE members followed Roy's vision. After a period of steady rehearsals the band achieved the'Right' sound and early 2007 the members decided to name the band 'DARK ROSES'
'DARK ROSES' has formed with one purpose in mind, sweet revenge and they're determined to take it! So prepare yourself for this technical, and well experienced band to smash YOUR hometown with their Dirty Rotten sound that should be known as the DARK ROSE METAL!!!
