Why did we start Lithium Zine and the Distro?
Lithium Zine was basically made as a source of promotion. We like to promote artist, all kinds of artist. We are interested in ST. / Graff artist, Writers, Musicians, Photographers, B-boys/B-Girls, Independent press, Independent Record Labels, Screen Printers, Independent Galleries, and anything that basically embraces the ST/Graff art movement. We want to promote you and show people in our pages who you are and what’s going on in L.A. Lithium Distro is a way you can sell your work without any hassles. We promote you as well as get people to buy your work. Also since we have a store front, it is easier for people to come by and see your work in person without having to wait untill it comes in the mail.
Why do we do it?
Don’t think that we make big bucks doing this. Shiiiieett, I might get more money working in BK at minimum wage, than selling zines for the rest of my life. Just like every one else, we claim to do it for the love of art and L.A and you know what? WE actually mean it. We love promoting L.A. We really love this city and all you scumbags in it... Yes, We heart you!!!
