REshuffle aka Guy Gerber & Niv Hadas

About Me

Reshuffle is Guy Gerber’s side project together with Niv Hadas, a music journalist and editor from Tel Aviv. Their first release “Shaky Feeling” came about when the guys discovered they share a wide range of mutual understanding of electronic music’s sounds, history, and atmosphere. The duo captured the vibes they picked up off the dance floor while playing back to back underground Tel Aviv parties in 2006, and translated the dirty club feel into 3 tracks - “Internal Affair, “Snare Spotting”, and “Shaky Feeling” leading the way for the creations of Gerber’s label Supplement Facts.
In August 2007, Reshuffle released “Hedonism” on Supplement Facts, receiving massive support across the board, and topping many summer charts. The title track unleashed textured house grooves which showed the word “minimal”' is not about production techniques or a specific genre, but about getting the most out of a simple groove. ''Paparazzi” on the flip signalled the direction Supplement Facts was about to take in its future releases. In this track Guy & Niv found a trippy, deep and a wonderful middle ground between contemporary house and techno. In the short time Gerber has to spend in the studio in between touring, and his own productions, Reshuffle managed to produce some of Supplement Facts’ best tracks which will be released in the latter part of 2008.
