I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

I've got an awesome family, except when they argue with me, which is always, but, I wouldn't trade any of them for the world. I've got several close friends which I've had for over 45 years. I've worked at same place 18 years and have great co-workers. Giving your word is one of the most important things I have learned you can do. But, following through with what you say you'll do is even more important. Being honest & having integrity lets me sleep good at night.

My Interests

I'm in advertising. I go on walks for exercise, I love living in the country. I shop with my 28 year old daughter & shoot with my 17 year old son, I like targets, he likes clays. I play 'Ring Around the Rosie' with Briley and 'Peek-a-Boo' with Kinley. I am dedicated to the people I'm close to and I help them out when I can. I enjoy spending time with great friends. Most nights, I spend quietly at home, don't like bars and don't like crowds anywhere. I like fishing, tubing down a river or sitting out on the back porch reading the Sunday paper, but more often than not, I'm doing laundry, housework, baking wedding cakes, doing dishes & cooking for a group.

Music:

Mainly listen to country, occasionally jazz, rock, easy listening

Movies:

Sex & the City! Awesome movie. I know: chick flick: but soooo good. Too many! I like a good story, but no blood & guts please. I don't like to see people hurting other people. Enjoy good oldies, like It's a Wonderful Life. Jimmy Stewart is my hero.

Television:

I don't watch much TV, it's usually after 10 & I'll watch the old Seinfeld, Fraiser & Raymond re-runs. When I do catch TV, I'll watch Grey's Anatomy, Sex & The City re-runs, E.R., Medium, Wife Swap, America's Funniest Home Videos & Antiques Road Show

Books:

"A Breath of Snow & Ashes" by Diana Gabaldon is the latest in the saga of the lives of Claire & Jamie, The Outlander Series. An awesome series, keeps you enthralled throughout. Already waiting for the next update. Books on tape are even better because the vocals captivate you and pull you into the story as if you are there and a part of it.

Heroes:

My mom. And as I mentioned, Jimmy Stewart. Also Sponge Bob or Bob-Bob which is what 1 and a half year old Kinley calls him. He goes through so much, but there is always a happy ending. He has a good heart and sees the bright side to even the worst situations. Evil does not exist in his vocabulary. Ha! Can you tell I watch a lot of catoons with my grandkiddos?
