DON'T FORGET TO SHOW SUM LUV AND LEAVE A VOICE COMMENT.
Wuts Poppin Myspace heads. Brought to you straight from the Beaver Park and Second Street Projects, this is the official music page of the one and ONLY, Southside Framingham's own S.Jones, one of the most versatile and immensely talented up and coming lyricist/rappers today. Some of you may know him through his affiliation with the underground supergroup the C.A.D.E.T.S., where he originaly went by the name of "Fine Print" but later changed to S.Jones because he wanted a name that tied in more closely to who he was in real life. Even though Jones got his start as a member of a very talented group, this website is to help him venture out on his own a little bit and do sum differnt things with his music, he basically wants to make songs that street niggas and real hip hop heads alike will feel and to relate to. Jones says that growing up in the projects has heavily influenced the way he thinks, acts and carries himself and he really wants to show that in his newer music. S.Jones has grown up around music with his father being a former singer in a small time group called "The Mellow Fellows" and his older brother, "Double 0", who had a big name in Newark, NJ as a vicious battle rapper. He also released several mixtapes, EP's and had guest appearances on two of Redman's albums. This alone was enough to influence young Stefan(S.Jones's government name) to make a name for himself in music. He would write verses during times when he was bored and had nothing to do, but being a troubled youth and having serious aspirations to be a college football player both heavily overshadowed anything he may have wanted to do in music. In 2002, during his sophomore year in high school, Jones formed a rap group with four other kids called E.O.S(Enemies Of the State). Due to one member getting caught up in the gang life and another who was just not around very often the group slimed down to just three emcees. This group later became known as The Rams. The members were, Fine Print(now known as S.Jones), Adept, and Identity. Later that year Jones introduced his new rap group members to his childhood friend Edgar aka King Author. King Author had his own rap group called Beyond Measure. He also had a recording booth set up in his room where Jones and his group recorded there first mixtape that was never released. After about a year of recording, hitting up ciphers and shows with Beyond Measure the two groups combined to form the lyrical powerhouse called The C.A.D.E.T.S.
"Lisening to me rap or lookin at my page you may notice that I am very outspoken with reppin where I 'm from. This is because for some reason Framingham is slept on by alot of people, even niggaz who are from here. This causes some of these niggaz to start frontin and claimin another place, such as Boston, even though they have grown up here. So I figure since that shit kinda makes me sick and I'm not a lier I'm just gonna rep my shit THAT much harder for me and all the other niggaz who are real wit themselves and rep this shit. Not to say that I'm not tryin to help out the whole "Murda Mass" movement cuz I definatly am but first and foremost I'ma put my hometown and more importantly MY HOOD on the map before anything." - S.Jones
