Expanding upon the newly created one year old company, It Is What It Is Entertainment, Inc makes it a priority to help develop and fine-tune the talents of every artist for which we will conduct business.We pride ourselves on believing strongly in nourishing and honing the skills of the talent signed to the label so that the artist themselves may be presented to the world in a respectful, professional, and positive manner.OUR MISSION STATEMENT As a company, we believe in developing the skills and talents of qualified individuals so that they may be marketed to the world ways that are both professional, and in the best interest of the individual and any and all affiliates. In a familiar and safe environment, we provide the necessary tools to help hone the skills of the artist as well as to expand the mind and skills of the artist to those which may best benefit him/her, allow critical and procedural developing of the artist as a person and as an entertainer, and to equip the artist with the means to promote his/herself in a manner that will be professional, diverse, and continuous. To us, the artist works not for us, but with us as a member of the “It Is What It Is Entertainment, Inc.” family.BACKGROUND INFORMATION It Is What It Is Entertainment, Inc was founded in Cleveland, Oh in September of 2006 by current CEO’s and partners Lamont Parson and Antoine Matthews. It began as nothing more than a management company with dreams of expansion, and the willingness to help the first out coming artist from the label, Unyque, but then quickly formed a record label as it realized the up rise in the amount of talent Cleveland had to offer. Over a short period of time, the label itself had begun to notice the ringing of it’s name in the Cleveland area and surrounding cities as a newly established label with great networking abilities, and wonderful outcomes of venues on which any or all of It’s artist’s performed. We currently have six artists, all but one of which represent the genre of Rap/Hip Hop, and one of which represents the Rhythm and Blues (R&B) category, and always looking to expand on the genres which we will offer which are including, but not limited to: Gospel, Christian rap, Rock and Roll, etc.At the present time, we have worked with such individuals as “Freeway” of Rocafella Records in collaboration with the artist under out label “Unyque“, Mike Taylor of Mike Taylor Productions, accredited and established video director out of Atlanta, GA with the shooting of Unyque’s video entitled “Daddy Can I”, and ending video segment, “Big Whips”. We also have had professional photo shoots done on the artists by highly accredited photographer to the stars “Derek Blanks, also of Atlanta, GA. Now it’s time for further expansion, accreditation, and acknowledgement. With the dream of becoming as large a company as any major record label, we will continue on our already progressive journey of doing so.
