I want someone who won't care that I hate wearing shoes, that I'm incapable of sitting still, that I can't grasp the concept of cleaning, and I refuse to be ladylike. Someone who realizes that half the decisions I make I usually regret, and I have the right to overreact at any given moment. I want someone who knows how completely insane I am, and he wouldn't want me any other way.
And you get to a point where you stop feeling sorry for yourself. You realize no one's going to save you, so you have to save yourself. You turn your life around, not knowing where you're going, just knowing that you are capable of doing anything.
The thing is you make me happy. You walked in when it seemed like the rest of the world walked out. You were there. You are there. I never need to pretend when I'm around you, when I'm talking to you, when I'm with you. You're hilarious; you make me laugh, like, all the time. You seem to pick up that something's wrong before anyone else does. And you know exactly what to say to make it all okay, and even if it's only for a little while, it helps. The thing is I love you.
