Hailing from the Sunshine State the place known as the Cocaine Capital, Daniel Orozco, A.K.A. Skoe has managed to keep his flow tight while staying out of the Heat. With hard punch lines, and quick comebacks, Skoe is quickly becoming known for his strong freestyles, and on the spot jaw dropping performances. Born in south beach Skoe has been raised in Kendall where he is known as being “Kendall’s Only Hopeâ€. Driven from day one Skoe has been working toward perfecting his technique and expanding his social networks.
Coming from the almost now typical American home Skoe dealt with a lot of problems from the separation from his parents. Raised by his single mother who was diagnosed with MS, Skoe managed to strengthen his family and keep hopes high. After the departure of his father Skoe put his anger and pain to the pad and got his first streak of inspiration. From age eleven rapping in his own home made studio with only a cheap microphone and his computer he laid down one memorable freestyle after another. A published poet in his early teen years Skoe continued to hone his craft. After witnessing the arrest of his cousin and several run ins with the authorities at a young age, Skoe understood that to keep this up he had to keep his head up. So he stayed away from the streets and plunged himself into the field. Upon entering High School Skoe put down the mic but kept the ink running to pursuit football. Although not on the top of his list, rapping still was a driving force and was constantly echoing in his head. A ladies man Skoe developed the swag and cockiness that earned him the phrase “Your Girl’s Favorite Rapperâ€. After winning the State Championship with his High School Football team, Skoe was back on the mic and hungrier then ever. After entering many local freestyle and B-Boy competition Skoe constantly took top honors and was encouraged to enter the 2006 Dub Car Show. Taking second place to only the great freestyling champion Jin, Skoe was born and developed a presence that could not be over looked.
Since then Skoe has been in the studio working hard on putting together a complete mixtape. Managing to create a huge buzz over his sound without a tape to promote Skoe still manages to capture the attention of all those who come his way. With several songs in heavy rotation at local South Florida strip clubs, and monthly performances at well known local clubs. Skoe continues to build his name using his freestyle prowess and a swagger that can’t be matched. Ladies can’t seem to get enough of his green eyes and smooth delivery and guys can’t deny the effect his music has on their ladies. With a close connection to the streets Skoe manages to keep his ear to the game but his head high reaching for the fame.
Influenced by Jay-Z, KRS-1, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, The Notorious BIG, Diddy, Nas, Slick Rick, Eminem and Pitbull for opening the door for white and Hispanic rappers. Skoe mixes all these styles to present his own flow, based on life experiences and the Miami lifestyle that has nurtured his style.
