About Me

My World Visitor Map!
I was born in Takapuna, Auckland in January of ‘76. I grew up mainly, in areas of Auckland and a few years in Melbourne, Australia & Los Angeles, California. My passion for music has always existed but has been on a long developmental journey as I started first listening to Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeath, Guns & Roses in the late ‘80s. Then in the early ‘90s I went through a range of Hip Hop (Naughty by Nature, Public Enemy, Run DMC) to Grunge (The Tea Party, Pearl Jam, Nirvana) and then found BASS! In the mid ‘90s I had found my true love; Deep Bass. I didn’t have any knowledge of what electronica was and started listening to Trance (Orbital, Paul Oakenfold, Digweed) and later went into the Psychedelic Trance (Infected Mushroom, Flying Rhino, Blue Room). During this time I had heard a little of Jungle but didn’t really get into Drum & Bass until Concord Dawns’ first album was released. I think from around this time onwards, because technology became better and more affordable, that the calibre of productions has increased exponentially. Now I am mainly into Drum & Bass plus Hip Hop. I have had little musical training (one year of Audio Engineering) but know what I like to hear so work on that principle to produce my music. I have been using Logic for about 3 years and find it a very good sequencing program to use. Prior to that I spent about a year experimenting with GarageBand and a PS1 game Music. Currently I am producing Drum & Bass plus Hip Hop tunes and am always interested in working with others and especially want to get into recording and working with vocals.
