About Me

I'm a published musician with over 37 years of musical experience and Bassist/Guitarist for Victory World Church in Norcross, GA. My main instrument is the bass but I also play guitar and drums. I have a Yamaha TRB6P 6-string bass (See my 1st love on my pictures page) lovingly refered to as "MY BIG ORANGE SQUEEZE" and a custom 6-string electric guitar (See my 2nd love on my pictures page) lovingly refered to as "MY BABY". I come from a musical family. My father plays the guitar, Chet Atkins style and played with Hank Williams in the Early days with my uncle. My uncle is the legendary steel guitarist Don Helms of the legendary Hank Williams band "The Drifting Cowboys". The venues we played were some of the largest and most respected in the southeast and included: Miss Kitty's (The place that gave the Confederate Railroad thier start and Travis Tritt), Cowboy's, Country Rock Cafe, Cowboy's in the Country and Peaches to name a few.
