Rúnir

The first band that we have been in together was the band Rúnir. Including 3 of the 4 members in the band today(Audunn, Hreinn and Ívar). It lived for about a year but then broke up because of lack of a place to rehearse in. Then in the year 2003 we formed a band orgially called death rider but after realising that the name was not fitting to the band music style we changed it to Ragnarök but yet another obstical came in our way for finding the right name so it was changed again to Rúnir. We first started to take the band seriously after getting a great rehearse place in my garage(Audunn). At that time we finally got a bassplayer he fit in very well and had obviousley the same music taste as we. Although that place was lost because we were a little bit to loud for our neighbours. But after that we got an even better place in a workshop owned by my uncle. Now we however rehearse in a garage hidden in the deep realms of icelands society. We are now fully shipped after the great vocalist Magnús Franklín Þórunnarson joined us.
