Hi there, I’m Nayt Ströbel and I’m 19 years old, I’m was society interprets as "gay", I don’t really like the word because it is just a word given to people by people, words are thrown around far too often just to label a person, but labels are incredibly inaccurate, humanity is far to complex to be thrown into categories. I don’t look at myself as gay per se, I just happen to normally like boys just as some people like girls and some like both, gender yet again is just a label a soul has no set gender is soul is a soul, and if there’s a connection no label matters. That leads into another thing, I'm a Practicing Therevada Buddhist and have been for the past 6 years. I believe in reincarnation, and i know what some of my past lives were, a lot of people think that im just crazy but my belief in reincarnation is no different than a belief in god or jesus or whatever, I expect respect of my beliefs because I respect yours. I have friends of every culture, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality and upbringing, I try not to judge, as a human it’s not my job. Diversity is important in living a meaningful life, respecting others differences and embracing them is another step to enlightenment. I also don’t think I’m always right or perfect, I have a lot to learn about the world still and so does everyone else, no one on this earth is perfect, that’s why were still here, and I’ll openly admit that I have a low tolerance for people who believe they are, it may be a contradiction but that’s one thing I haven’t mastered hiding. I don’t have an initial problem with anyone, if you want to talk shit go ahead but don’t expect me to put up with, or be a part of it. If I have no animosity for you, you shouldn’t for me. Its the golden rule, come on people we learned that in like first grade. If people could put aside differences and embrace them instead of trying to change them we would be a much stronger group, I don’t believe ignorance and hate will stop any time soon, but as a whole we would be a lot better off if we thought about our actions and words before we carried them out and tried to be as kind and generous to people as is humanly possible.
