About Me
So I’ve decided to make this page a little more personal than I’ve had in the past.
Let’s see….
I am a working comic book artist. I want to do it all – pencils, inks, colors, writing, editing, lettering – the whole, beautiful process that takes place to tell a story.
I love anything to do with the process of creating a concept, story, what have you, and I often will digress into tangents based upon that passion.
One of my mini-goals is to publish a graphic novel that I have completed 100% on my own! I’ll keep you posted on when that’s coming around…don’t hold your breath…it might be a while! Haha!
Maybe I should put a list of things I’ve worked on thus far in my short time in the industry, but I’d prefer to put up my favorites! I adored working as Bob Layton’s assistant on two projects – Iron Man: Legacy of Doom and Iron Man: The End. Although I will always shake my fist at Marvel for not crediting my coloring in the hardcover and my logo design! *insert stern face*
Anyway, I am a complete and hopeless workaholic and proud of it! So if you’re some random person looking to make some net-buddies that are local to your area, don’t bother with me…I barely have time to eat dinner with my housemates!
Right now I’m freelancing. I was living in Tampa, Florida and relocated to Los Angeles, Cali for some great opportunities and…well…LA > Tampa, any day of the week.

Who I’d Like To Meet
I like to meet people who qualify up to my standards of self-actualization. I love creative individuals, but creativity is not a replacement for a personality. I love comics, I love artwork, I love writing, but that’s not what makes me into who I am. I cannot stand people who are a certain way or have a certain interest for the sake of insisting on themselves. Just be you. And I’ll be me. Also, I’d love to meet individuals who know the difference between arrogance and confidence. I don’t like to party all the time, inspite of what my photos may insinuate. If you’re a café-loving, people-watching, artistic individual with a philosophical bent and maybe just a small hint of political psychosis, hit me up! If, however, you are one of those, “Ur so hawt, mami! Hit up n call me…†then just stop right here and move along. If you cannot master your own English language then I have no time for you.
General Interests
Art, Creativity, Story Telling, People, Politics, Philosophy, Life Experiences, Psychology, Sociology, blah the list goes on.
Musical Interests
Ugh, I’m so bad at lists like this because…well…my tastes are insanely eclectic. I don’t have a genre that I listen to more than others, so I really have no idea where to start! I will simply say – I enjoy excellence in all forms. I don’t discriminate in my tastes. However, I am a complete bitch for musical scores for movies and I'm religiously addicted to Rachel Portan, Han Zimmer, and James Horner...all gods in my book.
Film Interests
*sigh* Another list. Alright…lemme see:
Batman, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Spider-Man 1 & 2, Eternal Sunshine, Braveheart, Gladiator, Pirates 1, Secretary, Fall, The Day the Earth Stood Still (NOT KEANU REMAKE), anything with Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone, Anything by Kubrick, anything by Curtiz, Altered States, Wall-E (sue me, it was too damn adorable), Iron Man (I have to! *swoon on Tony Stark*), Dr. Strangelove (if you have never seen this movie...YOU MUST), All Bruce Willis movies (even the shitty ones, because I can still joygasm over watching that fine specimen of a man on screen), Lost in Translation, anything done by Michael Bay (because he demands things to be AWESOME! MBA!), V for Vendetta…this is getting WAY too long.
Television Interests
Robot Chicken, Battlestar Galactica, House, Entourage, Californication, Family Guy, American Dad!, South Park, Torchwood, Arrested Development, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Science Channel
My Heroes
My mother, Lia. My father, Mark. They put up with so much crap from me as a kid, I don’t know HOW they have that much patience. But they are the best parents in the world. I confidently say that ;)
My Artistic Heroes
I have a few for very different reasons...Michael Turner, Marc Silvestri (the two guys who made me notice comic books. Before that, I never paid attention.), Moose Baumann (fabulous colorist and fantastic individual), and of course Bob Layton (he taught me so much).
