'A Govan Love Story'-There aint no Romeos there aint no Juliets round here, There's nothing but broken dreams and teenage fear. Guy next door bangs the wall and tell's me to turn my music down, while putting a bottle through a window and smacking his girlfriend around. People too consumed with who knived who and who's banging who, this place has nothing but pain and loss for me and you. Ten years has passed my by like a train at full speed, why do we try to feed each other poisened seeds? Unemployment rises above the bleak landscape, local jobs for the people the politicians say. While the ghetto boys and the ghetto girls are so preoccupied, with violence, sex, booze and sport to keep them anesthetized. I'm scared to face the fact that deep down iv'e been touched, by the negative things iv'e felt and seen so much. My own are so submerged with rage it's hard for them to ease their hate, families torn apart by feuds they'll take to heavens gate. Nurses and firemen being attacked as they try to give aid, filming beatings, rapes and murders on our phones can only make us more afraid.
