I first started making music aged 0, when I got a mic inside the womb, came out rapping, the doctor signed me (nah, im messing, still).Seriously though, I started making music from the age of about 13, on my station, like countless other youths. I started spitting/writing/freestyling at 14-15 when one of my olders "Scarface" R.I.P told me "you can't be on stage beat boxing tunes, while the man dem spit" and tru manz didn't wanna get left out, I started writing lyrics. We started getting bits of equipment together as a collective to tryand make something of ourselves, via music.We tried to use music as an outlet for the pent up aggression we were feeling from society.
However due to unforseen circumstances I ended up in prison. During my time in incarcaration i practised and made new rhymes up on a regular basis, while my people were out on the roadside getting on with their individual grinds. I tried to use my time constructivley and gained many qualifications to aid me on my release.I am now a youth worker in surrey, I really enjoy my job and find that everyday for me now is exhilarating, as I can help young people with similar backgrounds as myself to channel their energies into positive activities, that could possiblly enhance their self esteem and/or their lives.Hence this myspace page being built.I feel that the talent we have moulded from our ghetto environment should be exposed to the world and we should at least try to see if there's a possibility that people may be feeling us and will be willing to contribute to our movement."Big up" everyone out their hussiling to survive, "there is a light at the end of the tunnel".
