Hello. I am Alan Cousins. I am the Owner of JAYA Modeling and Musician Promotions. I dedicate this page to Jeanette Thompson as she is our Sponsor Model. When I started this company , I wanted to show that individuals didn't have to be a certain size, shape, color or know certain people to get into the Modeling & Musical Entertainment Industry. I recieved a Letter from Jeanette Thompson one day that touched my heart. Once I read it, I had my Marketing Coordinator, Ashbeezy contact Jeanette Thompson right away and offer her to be the very 1st Model signed to our agency. Since then w e have grown to help others here and there and select only those we feel are true to be seen, promoted and assisted in making their dreams come true. Now, the company has been bought and is under new managemt to take it even further than I could take it. I feel in time a "New Generation of Modeling" will emerge and you will see people of all shapes, sizes, cultures, backgrounds be Models and display heir true beauty and talents to the world. If you believe in this concept then join my page as a friend. The more people that show their participation in this dream, the sooner it will become a reality. Please read the letter sent to me from Jeanette Thompson and if yo uwish to ever contact her and wrte her please send it to [email protected] and I will forward your letter of comments and thoughts to her. If yo uwish to be signed with our agency, please simply goto http://www.jaya.bz to begin your journey into the New Age of Modeling & Musician Promotions.
JUST AS YOU ARE: OUR FIRST SIGNED MODEL Letter to us.
"Throughout my entire childhood, I was very much overweight. I was teased by all of my peers. My mother always told me that my life is that of the ugly duckling, and one day I would turn into a beautiful swan. I began doing pageants, but I was not thin enough. I placed in all of them, but couldn't quite beat those with the perfect bodies. I began modeling over this past summer, but I believe I am not getting jobs because I am a normal weight and they are looking for girls that are bone thin. I do believe, however, that no matter what your weight of insecurity, you can do or be anything if you just believe in yourself. I hope you can give me the chance to show the world that beauty is not about being perfect to others, it's about being yourself and being comfortable in your own skin."~Jeannette
