I graduated from Pinson Valley High School in 2000. I met my husband Steven later that year when I started going to UAB. He played the saxophone in band (I play trumpet), and we started going out in spring 2001. I started my internship with Alabama Power in August 2002. Steven and I got married on May 24, 2003, and we have been married for five years now. I graduated from UAB with an electrical engineering degree in December 2006 and was hired on full-time as an engineer with the group I had worked with all that time. Steven is still in school at UAB for his degree in English and professional writing, and he will probably graduate in the fall, due to a lack of class offerings in the summer. We have an apartment (it's big, actually) in Hoover. We have three cats - Cuchulainn, Cleopatra, and Hushpad.
