In the year 2004, producer and dj Juuso Pikanen started to produce music under the name Pikanen beats. The music is hard to describe since it cant be put in a single genre, but has by other people been described as a mix between hip-hop and techno, a crunk-like type of beat often made with raw techno type basslines and captivating melodies.
Since then, his beats have been featured on albums and singles with wellknown rappers from both U.K. and Sweden, and some beats has also been featured as instrumentals in movies.
Living in Stockholm Sweden, Pikanen is currently producing as much music as possible, whilst at the same time dj-ing for swedish grime-rapper Max Peezay.
