PROGRAM BIO
John D. Nugent is a composer and the Music Editor of the Oregon Literary Review. His work has been performed across the United States. His opera Dark Mission and his Miserere in G Minor are currently in print, as well as several shorter pieces published in anthologies.
He is a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). He also holds a regional membership in the Greater Tri-Cities Area Composers Consortium.
He has served as President of two theatrical companies, the Board of Directors for another. He is now retired from the stage.
John currently resides in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, California.
