I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

To most people, I am Deborah, Deb, or Debbie. To my Jewish friends, I am Debba. To Katie-Bear, I am Debbie-Bear. To Alyssa, I am Debbsy. To my Sparhawk friends (especially my fiance Donnles), I am Debbles. To my dearest darling Scottie-Babie, I am Eb. You know where you fall!....
I have probably one of the best jobs ever. I'm a proffesional party entertainer. I run an interactive bubble set-up. I teach little kids (and all the cool people who don't believe in growning up) how to make really big bubbles with special wands. I also twist balloons. I perform mostly at corporate events (family-day celebrations, holiday parties). However, I would like to do more birthday parties and block parties. If you are interested in hiring me for any kind of event, please messege me here on myspace.
I have been hired by the following, among others, both privately and by local booking agencies. (list includes town festivals):
Merc
Osram-Sylvania
North Shore ARC
The friends of Breakheart Reservation (a local reservation)
Harley Davidson (a nearby dealership)
T.G.I. Friday's
Denny's
Marblehead Festival Of Arts
Brighton/Allston (combined town festival)
I live for music. My life is music. Music makes me happy. I am addicted to music. Oh yeah, and I love music! I hope you get the point by now...
I love my bass, guitar, teddy-bear, mp3 player, friends, and peanutbutter. I'm a hyper-happy person. I'm a Jew. I am not a self-concious person. I try to not be materialistic, because I don't like materialism. I am a giant contradiction. I'm a huge hypocrite even though I try very hard not to be.
I'm me.
I'm happy.
I'm sad.
I'm bored.
I'm colorful.
I'm depressed.
I'm artistic.
I believe Simple Plan says it best:
"I'm just a kid, and life is a nightmare."

My Interests

music, friends, peanutbutter, rain, spiked hair, dance, singing, bass guitar, teddy bears, hugs, fuzzy pink socks, Shaniquewa (Cuz she's black on the inside!), kitties (I want one!), colored hair, reading, liberty spikes, free couches or comfy chairs, dogs (I want one of those too!), chains, the Flaiming Emu, professional spit (yes, as in the card game, and YES, PROFESSIONAL!), piercings, and the most important of all my interests, ME!

I'd like to meet:

ANY LOCAL MUSICIANS/BANDS!!! I LOVE local music, there's nothing like it. Local bands: ADD ME! I don't promise to accept the friends request, but if I like your stuff I'll add you right away. Chances are I'll like it.
A drummer and a bassist in my area who seiously wants to start a band or join me in my project. (Interested or know someone who might be? Send me a messege - I'M DESPERATE!)

I'd also obviously like to meet my favorite "mainstream rock-stars/bands", mostly to thank them for doing what they do. (I hate how the following stuff makes me sound like such a typical ass-kissing, trend-following, scene kid kind of fan, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope people know I'm not like that, at least the people who actually know me!)

All of My Chemical Romance, especially the Way brothers Gerard (vocals) and Mikey (bassist). After my Grandmother passed away, all I listened to was MCR's album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, knowing that it was written with the brothers losing their own grandmother in mind. I'd like to meet them to thank them for helping me cope death.
I'd also like to thank Gerard and Mikey for inspiring me to get off my ass and try to start a band and learn bass.

I'd like to meet Good Charlotte to thank them for writing the song "Hold On". Sometimes I think if GC never released that song, some of my friends would not be alive today. I also want to meet GC's bassist Paul Thomas, and ask him for bass lessons because his musicianship amazes me.

I'd like to meet Simple Plan, especially (bassist) David Desrosiers. He is one of the reasons I chose to learn bass before guitar.

I'd like to meet a few other random specific people from some other bands because things that they have said and their acomplishments impress and inspire me to try harder to reach my own goals.

Oh yeah and cool new friends and a few random dead people...

Music:

I listen to EVERYTHING, but my favorite is generally rock, in all it's various forms. I like the way all of the following SOUND. These bands/artists are not on my list because I think they as people are punk, attractive, smart, stupid, fat, posery, kind, caring, generous, greedy, selfish, snobby, cool, funny, mentally ill, inspiring, depressing, hardcore, or respectable(although I do think some of the things I listed apply to some of the artists listed below). I simply enjoy the music that all of the following create.
