As a first generation American, Dj Tony Rook has always understood that society is not just a massive collective of everyday people but an ever changing global conscience that feeds on the unknown, unheard and unseen. The last of three children by understanding the multitude of societal views. Hip Hop is what defines Tony Rook as a modern day artist. He is struggling to make every day a completion towards a musical masterpiece that is ever changing in an industry that has practically copyrighted rap artists with superficial images heavily saturated in materialism. A career that now spans over a twelve year period Tony Rook started his hip hop endeavors like most of todays artists, perfecting his skills until the first opportunity to test his skills in front of an audience in downtown Dallas at the Dread n Irie. This continued on at many other venues such as the art bar, July Alley, Main Street, and the Pharmacy. Midway into his career he resided as regular Dj on Lower Greenville Avenue at places like Micks, The Rear Window, and Greenville Bar and Grill. In 1998 Tony Rook reached the next level of hip hop journey , now producing his own music at home and working on projects with other producers dj's and musical influences in the Dallas Metroplex.
