SEVEN ELEVEN was founded in Amsterdam in 1987 and is considered to be one of Europe’s leading formations in the field of funk, jazz and hip-hop crossovers. After winning the Camel Pop award in 1993, the band refined their funk formula on stage for many years. SEVEN ELEVEN recorded their debut album THE COME OUT in 1995 with help of New York guitarist and producer Menace (Madonna, Bill Laswell, P-Funk). The record was released in 1996 and received outstanding acclaims. Through the years the band’s live reputation was growing rapidly and soon SEVEN ELEVEN concerts were broadcasted on radio and television all over Europe. Their albums were released worldwide such as Get ‘m down! (2000), The New Come Out (2003), Hot ‘n’ funky (2003) and Live in Paris (2006).
