Cadell B is not your run of the mill DJ.The level of depth and passion that goes into his art, as he lovingly calls it, is rare in this day and age of wannabes and show ponies.
He prides himself on creating soundscapes of mood and emotion that captivate his audience from beginning to end with a rhythmic force. One thing is for sure, this man knows how to move a crowd!
"The most important thing in a club is the person on the dance floor, I'm there to help them escape for a few hours and be free. My fans are on the dance floor for me, but I'm the decks for them. It's a beautiful symbiotic relationship."
This philosophy comes through in Cadell B's work as he seamlessly melds commercial and underground sounds in a crowd-pleasing way that leaves his crowd wanting more.
Djing for over 10 years, Cadell B first emerged as DJ Syn!RG in the Brisbane underground trance scene. Syn!RG rocked the crowd at raves and underground clubs before becoming a resident at Brisbane's most legendary night club The BEAT. His name was synonymous with uplifting sounds of pure ecstasy.
Since those days this man's love for Djing and music has only grown and grown. And although his music still resonates with that uplifting crowd-pleasing force, the real beauty of his music is that it's always right here in the now.
His art has evolved, as all good art should, but the pleasing force of his music now has a much wider range through the sexy sounds of House, the energising sounds of Breaks and the dirty sounds of Electro. Not to mention his passion for jamming live with percussionists, sax players and scratch-masters.
This range has seen him playing in major Brisbane and Gold Coasts clubs such as FAMILY,EMPIRE, GPO and BAJA. He's also played in Thailand at the Full Moon Party and at other tropical locations for beach parties and festivals through his affiliations with REDBULL.
With a strong past behind him, this awesome DJ now has his eyes set firmly in the future.
Cadell B is currently in the studio leaning the art of production from industry legends Don Nadi and DJ Freestyle plans to have some work out later this year.
In his continuous drive to push the boundaries, he is one third of electronic group 'QNFX' which consists of well-renowned club percussionist El nino and Brisbane's No. 1 percussion DJ De La Roche. Raw talent combined with creative flair, results in a show that has to be seen to be believed... an act that has been described as pure chemistry about to explode.
The future looks bright for Brisbane's most passionate DJ which means the dance scene looks a little brighter as well.
