Welcome!
My name is Michael Chornak
I'm in my 10th quarter at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for my Bachelor's of Science in Photography.
I've been photographing since 2002 when I picked up my first camera, which was a Pentax KX and took an entry level photography class in high school.
Every year after that throughout high school I took a photography class and my skills started to become much stronger.
By the time I was a senior, I was in photography portfolio and was also enrolled in the Post Secondary Enrollment Options program to take photography classes at Columbus State Community College.
I finally perfected my style once I started taking classes at AiP and now I'm very confident with my work and actually know that people out there and my classmates really enjoy the work that I produce.
My main goal is to become a well known and rounded Nature Photographer.
The types of photography that I enjoy to do and do best are Nature, Commercial and Urban Landscape.
Photography is my passion, it's my future, it's my life, and nothing will ever change that.
I do consider myself an artist because all of the work I do has a personal reason behind it. I don't photograph just to do it. I do it out of shear love for the medium, and the joy I get out of showing the rest of the world how I see it.
