I'm a Chazz Michael Michaels fan, also known as The illustrated Man

About Me

Well, The below project is now on hold. A few things happened at the right time. I was doing some work for a long time client (turned friend) and discussing the fact that I was mentally and physically run down. The 12 and 14 hour days, 7 days a week, was taking it's toll on me. I had actually applied for a job with this mans company when I was 22 years old (15 years ago) and now I was about to be offered that job without me realizing it. This was a chance for me to get back to my first love in the field of photography (lab side) and therefore, I excepted the job. I now spend my days doing Fine Art reproduction for Giclee printing, amoung lots of other things. I love it, so I am sticking with it and woodworking will have to be secondary. This should be a chance to fall back in love with woodworking and build some things I would like to build. I am leaving my page set up the way it is for a while, because I am still proud of the desk below.I have been a custom woodworker for many years and some time ago, I finally was able to open my own shop. My wife provided lots (lots!)of support and came up with a good name for it, we are still working on a logo. JMC Woodworking Solutions, LLC. The idea behind the name is to try and explain that our shop is capiable of suiting your needs. Everyone always has a great idea for a piece of furniture or entertainment unit, coffee table, etc..., but then you go to the store and shop just to come home with the best you could get. Even though this was not what you had in mind, you will settle because no one makes what you really want. This is beginning to sound like an infomercial so I will stop here. I thing you get the idea... ..Apparently, standing in front of a drug store in Sweden while in your slippers, holding 2 bags of liquor, and smoking a cigarette is not what a typical Swed would be found doing. ..Hey, Meet my monkey. Please take a little time and toss "Lil Meat" around.

My Interests

Beer,Music, woodworking,I have been spending quite a bit of time learning about Scottish history, a little about Swedish history and trying my best to learn to speak Swedish. It would help a great deal when trying to converse with my in-laws. I've been reading a lot in order to learn some of what I should already know. Most people learned this shit in high school, I went for the more "play before study" option and ended up with more of a dense mass between my ears rather than the developed tool. So now I am work up hill and starting with "Usless knowledge" first. Like knowing that Catherine "The Great" died of heart failure on the toilet trying to overcome constipation. Much like a famous King we all know: Elvis, uh huh!

I'd like to meet:

These will do!

Music:

New Model Army ROCKS! ROCKS! ROCKS! If you don't know it, you should. Flaming Lips from start to finish, Sonic Youth, Bauhaus and everything that came from it, PJ Harvey, NWA and everything that came from it, I don't have the brain capacity to name them all. But here is something you should know.

Movies:

Comedy's, the ones that I can repeat the lines to people and it makes me look funny.

Television:

I have one, It has football on it a lot. Sometimes I get stuck on whatever bad movie happens to be on.

Books:

I would recommend that everyone read "The United States of Europe" by T.R. Reid. Also, "Me talk pretty some day" David Sedaris

Heroes:
