I'm Dylan Taylor, born in September, 1990. I lived just south of Atlanta, GA, in Henry County until I turned 11 and then my family and I moved to Tennessee. My dad has always been a musician, songwriter and is also an entertainment attorney. The reason we moved to Tennessee was because my dad wanted to move back to his home town and open an office of the Atlanta law firm and build his entertainment law practice.I've been singing since I could talk and it has always been my love and I got my first guitar when I was about 7 and soon after that I started to take lessons from a guy named Chris, who is an amazing guitarist, at a place in TN called Chambers Guitars. After taking guitar at Chambers for about three years, I started getting classical instruction from a professor at Blair/Vanderbilt, named John Johns. He actually taught my dad as well a long time ago.I started writing my own songs sometime in 2001 or 2002 and got my first gig at a place called Murphy's Loft, in Nashville, as a guest performer. I was invited by an amazing musician named Sabrina, who is also a part of a group called The No Hit Wonders. Since then I've played at several different places including The Bluebar, Code Blue, Ri'chards, The Foobar, Lyrix, Borders, Kimbro's, Tucker Theater (at MTSU for a camp I go to every year called the Southern Girls Rock And Roll Camp), Ravenwood High School, etc....I've also been a strong supporter of animal rights all my life and I was born into a non-meat eating family, therefore, I've been a non-meat eater , or pescatarian, all my life. Music has always played a huge role in my life and even if i have to live in a bus and play for tips for the rest of my life, i don't see myself giving up on my music.Myspace Layouts
