Sherborne Jazz Club has consistently brought the best of contemporary British Jazz to Dorset and Somerset for more than 20 years; Firstly by the tireless efforts of Peter Hailley, founder of the club, followed by several years under the direction of Iain Houston.
Paul Chousmer has taken the 'chair' for bookings since December 2006.
Most of the artists below have performed at the club in recent years, either leading their own bands, or in collaboration.
Autumn 2008 saw the club back at the Plume of Feathers in the centre of Sherborne (opposite the Abbey), where the new landlords Paul and Shirley, have made a great job of transforming the decor and atmosphere of the pub.
Performances are always on a Saturday evening, starting at 7.30pm
