Helen was born somewhere oversea, but they put down Lindhurst, New York on her birth certificate in March 6, 1934. She left this world from us on July 11, 2006. By her bedside at the hospital she was surrounded by Don, Deborah, Charles. Though Charles was there but he did not wish to see her go he left the room. Her friends also started to showed up for her when they heard the bad news on Sunday. That Sunday night I got a hold of the nieghbors to get Charles. Charles and I did not sleep for three days or the little cat naps we got until Don the oldest showed up Tuesday. It was that Tuesday Helen passed away from the world to the next. But she is remember by her family, seven children. Don the oldest, Wayne Nov 2, 1956 - Dec 7, 1979, Steve, Christine, Charles, Melissa, Deborah. With 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She did survived cancer, she had psoriatic arthropathy, rheumatoid arthritis, ischemic heart disease, IDDM, CAD,CHF,diuretic rx,K+ Replacement rx, TIA's, parkinson disease. But even though she had that all against her she was one hell of a fighter. All this stuff did not happen to her over night, far from it it happen to her in the 70's at work at NARD. For more history of mom you might want to ask my brothers and sisters for I was born around the 70's. So I just know what was hear say. Around her I moved back home when I was 21 to take care of mom and I'm 36 now, but if I had to do it all over again I would be right here for my mom. Funny thing we got new nieghbors and mom was nice one day and the next just screaming and yelling, then again the next day all smiles. Finally they figured it out when I went over to talk to them. They have been the best thing to happen, when Mom would fall and I couldn't get to her fast enough they would help out. So many people touched my mother life I just wish to thank them for all they did. She got into Tri-Chem paint t-shirts and she was a great sale person for them. She did odd jobs like cleaning offices, solar power toys, and she went over the road as a truck driver. She did her best to raise all of us a single parent in the late 60's. Even though threw the pain she did smile, and kept God close to her heart. She would tell everybody she meet "Bless Your Heart". I love you Mom........MySpace
