About Me

"Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"(that quote is from the movie "Stripes" a classic Bill Murray movie....I wish I could come up with something that funny)You may or may not know that I was a submarine sonarman. My job was to listen to the ocean for hours cooped up in nuclear submarine for months upon months!! Anyway, here is something I found, which is very true of about sonar operators (STS2/SS Francisco "Hank" Novoa,USS Albany-1990-1996...Wow, has it really been 10 years since I left the navy!!)....."In all the navies of the world, submariners are regarded as a curious breed, and all submariners themselves look upon sonar operators as odd." Tom Clancy, The Hunt for Red October-1984 This awesome myspace layout is from CompleteMyspace.com

My Interests

Playing tennis, running, watching baseball.....GO YANKEES!! The Dolphins, the Florida Gators and for hockey... I follow the Islanders and the Flyers(I know, same division but I have friends from Philly. So, I occasionally follow how the teams from Philly are fairing). Traveling, reading a good book, spending time with my family, especially with my nieces Alexa and Kayla, world history, astronomy, contemplating the meaning of life, thinking of ways of developing my daily conversations with Chris into a book, trying to figure out which former member of Menudo I most look like when I had long hair, and of course laughing at the daily mechanations of society

I'd like to meet:

Funny, interesting and intelligent people who believe that: Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, President Bush is a liar, the books by John Grisham are basically all movie screen plays, Joe Torre is the best manager in baseball, that its very difficult to let go of things, the Dolphins will always make you cry, T.O. is over-rated, Jon Stewart should run for President, the stupid shall be punished, Earnest Hemingway said it best when he wrote "Have faith in the Yankees my son." OLD MAN AND THE SEA-1954, Paris Hilton being a celebrity is a sign of the apocalypse, the Red Sox winning the World Series was a fluke, Right wing Christians are taking over the country, NASCAR is not a sport, we did land on the Moon, Frank is helluva good looking guy, we are not alone in the universe, time wasted is time you will never get back, love is a beautiful thing and one day we will all have it, and that Beavis and Butthead is the funniest cartoon ever.
