About Me

Hi everyone, this is my official myspace page. hmmmm, how do I start?Well,i was born in West Africa, Ghana, and currently opening a beauty therapy Bussiness with my business partner Del. (Company name Adel & Del) I am quite proud to say this because, at this age not many people can say "they own a business". I would be launching the business in November ending 2006, hopefully with a good after party! your all welcome!A lot of people say they can not believe how a young girl can get up to say they want a business. All i say is " I am from a very hardworking back ground (Poku Transport timber company, which was owned by my late Grandfather) and the women in my family always stand on their own two feet.I believe living outside Ghana for more than sixty percent of mylife, has also contributed to my idea on opening a business so quickly. Been given the chance to study in America and England, has broaden my knowlegde on life and also a good way to find myself. I always had an interest in Fashion and Beauty, which most people were a bit sceptical about, due to the family i came from (Timber Business). Well,I usually tell them I am the odd one out and that Timber is a business I know I would never do well at (But never say never, cause I am a busines woman lol). I love looking good, feeling good and attention. Yes!I said it, attention. So, I say to myself, why not become something you love and enjoy. I then studied business management at uni and went on to college for Beauty Therapy. I studied Business because I believe the running of anything requires a basic business knowledge and the actual skill of what the business intails.I am young and ready to take on competition in the Beauty industry in Ghana and hopefully world wide. Well, lets just say "Anyone who crosses my path, Bring it on!My current business partner is also into comodities (trading of petrol, rice and other comodities with other countries. If you are in that field and would like to do business, e-mail him on [email protected] xI edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

My intrest vary from time to time. What I enjoy NOW, does not mean I will enjoy it LATER! lets see, mmmm, I love the movies , my classical music, OH! and lets not forget HIP HOP and R&B. I also love going to watch the fashion shows form time to time during the fasion week, for new fashion and designers, when I am in London. Especially, the Roberto Cavalli shows and Afro Hair and beauty week (VIBE). I also love ART.

I'd like to meet:

clients, clients, clients! and also business minded peopple with an intrest in anything that brings money! Oh, and feel free ask any questions about hair and beauty. (I will reply you with the info shortly after your mail).chao x.

Music:

As mentioned above classical, Hip Hop, R & B, lets see, hmmm, oh yes Jazz. My favourite musician is Mariah Carey.

Movies:

I did mention that I love my movies. I love passionate movies and movies that cause controversy. Sometimes action (with a good love scene). I use to pick sad ending movies at the cinemas so I could have my date's attention! lol, well I can't do that NOW, since I no more date. Anyway, too busy to date now.

Television:

hmmmm, don't really have time to watch TV unless it's the news. I do like to know what goes on in the world and its changes in the economy. Hate Ghanaian news because they never have something interesting. Oh, I never miss the show of the richest Black Woman in the World. "Yes OPRAH.W". "OH, to Miss T. Banks, you can never be the next OPRAH. Well I Hope not!

Books:

Daniel Steel, the autobiography of Roman Abromavich (love a guy who goes from nothing to everything), Beauty tips books and magazines and GQ magazines.

Heroes:

Mother and Grandfather (Poku Transport). For my mother, because she will kill for me (she is super woman), and for late Grandpaa, unlike me he had nothing as a child and now in Ghana when I mention him, even now he's gone, people tell me only good things about him and how he helped a lot of people. (funding universities, building a hospital and charities.)
