I've been married to Dave for 11 years - I am a stepmom to 3 ornery boys, Andy, Matt, and Danny, and a mom to adorable little Mikayla Jo. Andy is married to Nicole, and has two beautiful kids, Kyle, who is 7, and Sydney is 6. And Matt is married to Megan and they are wonderful together!!! They are new parents to Ryddar Curtis who was born March 17th. And Danny is he orneriest by far. I also have the most wonderful and supportive parents in the world!!! And a wonderful sis too!!! And I can't forget my beautiful niece, Mackenzi!!! I also have an extended family: Brian, Casey, Hope,and Reed, Nancy & Charles, Roger, CC, William, Michael, and Preston! And even more family: I teach 6th grade at Lubeck school and I absolutely love my job and all of my students are "my kids too!" And they all ask if I have a myspace which is the reason I'm doing this! I hate it that they are moving 6th grade and 9th grade up. I don't know why everybody thinks you have to fix something that is not broken, but oh well.....they didn't ask for my opinion....... I was thinking about gastric bypass but my insurance takes a year to approve it......so I've lost 40 pounds in the last 4 months. I have a loooong way to go, but I can get there!

My Interests

Spending time with my family, scrapbooking, having bonfires for all my kids.

Music:

Country, rock - I like all kinds of music, just some better than others!

Movies:

Comedy, Romance, Adventure, I hate scary movies! I own every Disney movie ever made.

Television:

Well, my adorable little Mikayla Jo is 3 so I'd have to say Dora, Diego, Spongebob, Timmy Turner, Jimmy Neutron, Nickelodeon, Noggin, and cartoon network!!! I like to watch Desperate Housewives, The Biggest Loser, and Law and Order, SVU. And I love to watch football...especially the Dallas Cowboys!!!!

Books:

Parenting mags, and school texts - that's all I have time for! I'm also currently trying to read Mandisa's autobiography.

Heroes:

My parents definitely!!! They raised me to be the person I am today! They are both loving, caring, giving people. They taught me all of those characteristics and more!!!
