.Yeah!...Relac’s ---a.k.a. Carles Zanetti – drummer/dj/independent producer/sound engineer....and i use dots a lot!!! .I began my career learning drums and other instruments until later on i ultimately expanded my musicality through computers and digital recording technologies. I played in Italy as Europe and U.S. with several band projects and started in 1992 my own recording studio called Relac'soundfactory located in Genova, Italy, with the intent to improve my skills and experience within music creation. i normally use computers as well other than acoustic instruments to provide myself more freedom and flexibility while composing. Everthing always begins from the passion for life and music naturally blended with experimentation and very particular sounds for very sensitive ears....ride on hopefully?! .In these recent years i've got the opportunity to live through several musical experiences, scenes and approaches, travelling between continents, getting to know new people while doing unexpected sessions, meeting lots of artists sharing with me their artistic journeys and trials and so on... It happens sometimes to find yourself laying down in someonelse's couch?! where m I!...or to really find yourself, finally...about that! .My philosophy and life style are based on all these shared times. Perhaps and likely i can say that the experience i built working around people, instruments, mixers, computers..etc. has allowed me to develop a very positive and unique style while composing, arranging playing and remixing, with a particular sensitivity to intuition and dynamics...as a constant groove gathering...like fluid! .Although, as many other contemporary producers and artists, i've been influenced by different styles, music and more.....then...,i'm still exploring myself and breathing different kind of music creativity, from Jazz to Rock, Pop to RnB and further onto more electronic and contemporary sounds more teckno-ambient oriented, i would say more organic overall.....music is music anyway!.I want to mention Oleo, the project i started in Genova in 2001 with Max Rollf which is a blend of jazz harmonies and electronic computerized grooves, was published in 2003 after big efforts. The first CD “Next Beat” was released with the Italian indy label Scenario music and represents without a doubt one of the most important self-production that has been created within Relac’sound factory's concept. The CD is available on the web at www.oleomusic.it, www.tunes.co.uk and also on both iTunes Music Store and www.cdbaby.com --- So, come on...check it out!...worthed! we're actually all involved mainly in personal project and walking different paths, but i would say some new might come out soon! Lately some of my music have been used in an american TV show called "American Made" aired last year on CNBC (no money at the end, unfortunately), also promoted online by an Italian web-label. I've been the former drummer of the Austin based band "Little Aurora" for almost 2 years. I've always tried to focus on producing music that is full of sound scapes and sensitivity too with experimental-dance sounds and ethnic beats....big meltin pot! I'm also active with remixing other artists...at the moment i'm working on something very hot with an Austin based singer songwriter.... Listen to the remix on this page!!! i'm living in Austin,TX and currently working as live sound-engineer at Ruta Maya world headquarters and for the Austin based band Atash every wednesday night at the Red Fez on 5th street, lots of great musicians, artist and new ideas to be explored... i recently joined the singer song-writer Jesse Jones in a new band project that has lots of goodies and future goals...stay tuned for it and for the first gigs in town! by the way...such a crazy/beatuful process is trying to find the name of your new band!!! ...i'm defenetly workin' on it! peace LES..
