I was born in Princeton, NJ. I grew up in Bucks County, PA. I began my college career at age 17, as an architecture major, and seven years later (1994) graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in English. After college, I lived and worked in New York City for seven years, mostly as a music journalist/producer. I lived in Seattle from 2002-2007. I currently reside in Philadelphia.
