About Me

I grew up in San Angelo and am now raising my family here. I have been happily married to my husband, David for almost 5 years - and have been together for 7. We have a 2 year old son Reger Carson who is the light of our lives. He has the most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen in your life and is the most easy going kid in the world. We are blessed! We certainly never expected to stay in San Angelo this long, but after we had Reger, we decided this was a good place to be for the moment. Currently, I am a stay at home mom and loving every minute of it, though I can't see doing it long term. I have just recently started my own business and am hoping that it will take off soon. Anything that has to do with my family. Taking Reger to the park, feeding the ducks, watching movies and watching my Dallas Cowboys win! I'm an internet junkie and love taking pictures ... yes, I'll admit it! Here is a slideshow of our Reger from the beginning.

I like all kinds of music. My BIL, Chris is in an awesome band in Decatur, Illinois. www.deadmatchcorner.com ~ is the old band check it out! Shameless plug! I love Son's of the Desert and Drew Womack - graduated from high school with him. I like the Los Lonely Boys - they are across the street from our house often since family live there. Will T. Massey - he's from San Angelo, too! Other than the locals who're making it, Green Day is a favorite. Evanescence, INXS, Marty Casey, Billy Dean, Rascal Flatts, Rockstar Supernova, Chris Daughtry and too many of the 80's band to list. Pretty much ... anything goes. Here is a slideshow from our wedding!

Movies:

My favorite movie of all time is Music Box. I love Titanic, U571, Shawshank Redemption, Man in the Iron Mask, and anything with Ed Norton, Matthew McConnaughey or Ashley Judd!

My favorite shows are ANY CSI (David Caruso is the bomb)or Law & Order, Cold Case and Prison Break. oh yeah, and again - watching my Dallas Cowboys! Have to admit that I love to watch Rockstar. Yep, both seasons!

Heroes:

My grandparents on my mother's side. Our son was named after them - they were the most non-judgemental, loving people in the world! I miss them a lot! Also, my parents - they have always stood beside me, even when I didn't make the best choices in life. I hope that we can be half the parents that they have been. My husband, David for believing in me ... always! My friend, Christine whose life paralleled my own ~ she passed away before her daughters first Christmas. We miss her! My brother, who is a veteran of the Gulf War for giving of himself. Most recently, Major Troy Gilbert - F-16 pilot who was shot down in Iraq. He was a married father of 5. Fallen soldier .... never forgotten!
