I was born in Venezuela in 1902.During this period my country saw a vast succession of military dictators, political coups and economic instability.With poverty rife and educational and health facilities in a deplorable state, i organised a series of popular uprisings, culminating in the country's first democratic elections in 1947. It was by this time i had formed the beginings of an invention of what we now know as 'The Skip'.By the late 1940s, my country had become the world's largest oil exporter, but little of this newfound wealth found its way to the common people. It was time to release 'The Skip'.
