Our band was formed on 22.08.2006. We are 54[R] (music) and GoshaFiend (lyrics). We play Electro with a touch of fun. For this time that's all. And I would like to add that we are the electonic formation too! At the end of the year 2006 we released an EP "Der Herr Major" in ammount of 50 copies. All of them were numbered by hand. How our band is working on long play album and thinkin about re-releasing an EP.
...I remember as it has began…on June 28, 1914 Grand Duke of Austro-Hungary was murdered; that was a great shock for us…Thus Germany granted full assistance to Austro-Hungary in case military conflict would have occurred. The past is in reality… The political events progressed rapidly…Serbia was found guilty and it started military drafting together with Russia, Austro-Hungary and Germany…in that times I was just graduating from University and was brought under military draft. I have been doing my military service to Fatherland. The battles were violent and I was contused…and now so am I. Then forwarded Liege; then occupation of Brussels: we fought against military alliance British and French people… Then came a very important moment in my life. We used a new weapon. That was asphyxiant gas. It so happened that my gas mask was fastened incorrectly and I got poisoned. Docs patched me by halves and I have had to wear gas mask since that. First behind my back and then by sight guys started to call me “weevilâ€. I was involved in military actions like that till 1916, and then I was dispatched to the Eastern theatre of war. Yet another battles for Poland. In 1917 damned pollacks sealed off our platoon under Wroclaw…all my guys were killed and I was the only survivor (since I was an officer). I was boxed into barracks…were I found a noble man wearing a Kaiser modality. We became friends at once and he told me his palpitating story. He was an offspring of a noble Prussian ancestry; the war involved him by the same means as me…In 1915 the war took him on the battlefield right from the academical desk already bearing an officer rank. He saw his service on tactic zeppelins and was doing air attacks on London and Paris…before being trapped. In Paris it was his unfortunate accident that his zeppelin hitched the Eiffel Tower and crashed down… Despite of this he wasn’t shot dead only coz of his ancestry – but he was reduced to the ranks and dispatched to the Eastern theatre of war. We set in barracks for two days like that…when suddenly a terrible and strange noise sounded out loud. The door flew apart whips and jingles and then we saw Him! We heard premortal cries outside and then everything became silent. The steps were getting closer to the door of our barracks…He looked glorious wearing moustache, helmet with spire and a monocle…It seemed to me that that was the way how God should look like…It seemed to me that he was able to destroy the whole world with bare hands! He said: “Up with you!†and we rose. He said: “Tear apart the ropes!†and we did it. He said: “Guide on me!†and we followed him. Outdoors we saw a grand magnificent tank. There was a feeling that it could cross over any terrain. First we felt panic, but when we saw Him mounting that monster and inviting us to follow Him we obeyed immediately. There He told us what forced him to come here… He named himself as Herr Major. Since terrorists had murdered the Emperor of Russia and seized the power afterwards, he was ordered to go to that country with a secret mission. He was appointed as a head of a secret squad which aim was to reconstitute the Imperial regime. He also told us that his tank was the latest model and he needed two more members for the crew. We couldn’t help refusing and started arm of service under His command. I had to supply tackles and my fellow became a tank driver – all under His command. We reached Russia on our storm-tank unconstrainly coz everyone spooked just at one sight of us. We have spent much time in Russia trying to fulfill our mission. We started to think that we will die soon and the hope incumbent on us won’t be justified, but Herr Major told us that we won’t get old and die until our mission will be a success. And we haven’t got old, and even haven’t thought of death! Once Herr Major said that he is going to find a new Emperor by his own means and we mustn’t follow Him anymore. Since that we have been carrying out our mission waiting for His return. One night our Commander visited my brother in arms in a dream and said that we must create a musical band in order to attract in favor of our sacred military duty as more disciples as possible. Herr Major visits us in our dreams by nights regularly…He tells me all lyrics and provides my friend with a musical sense. Hereby a new age of our sacred duty has begun.
