You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

I am a 23 year old from Stanford, Kentucky. I'm usually shy and quiet, at least until you get to know me. For the past year or so I have been stuck in Iraq. Now I am just waiting for the Army to tell me what to do next. My patience and my temper has worn thin from the Iraq experience, so I am told at least once a day that I am a bitch. I don't like dealing with stupid people or things, other than that I guess I'm rather nice. If you need to know anything more than that, you'll just have to send me a message or become my friend. I don't bite, too hard. Though I warn you, I'm not going to accept people who are just collecting friends. If you're actually interested in getting to know me we'll talk, otherwise.....Music tends to be my only source of release, venting, its my one and only safe haven, aside from the security of my own mind, and I don't think thats very secure most of the time. Ask anyone who's lived with me for any period of time, I'm a little nutty. Sam still can't get over the hot chocolate incident, and that was only mildly nutty. (120degrees in the desert, middle of the day, and I'm making hot cocoa, what's so crazy about that?) Anyway, I'm never without a song, never have been. It's the only thing keeping me as close to sane as I can be over here. And they still think I'm nuts cause they come to relieve me at the end of my shift and I'm standing around singing evanescence, or reba, or, most times, the phantom of the opera. What's wrong with a little opera in the middle of the desert?

If I see something sparkely chances are you've lost my attention, and I totally forget what I'm doing so easily. The guys here laugh at me all the time. We'll be just waalking along and then I'm gone, they've lost me. There was something shiny, or I'm chasing a butterfly. I couldn't believe that, there are actually butterflies out here! I follow them every chance I get, not that I really have a choice, I don't notice I've left the group till they come to get me. Ha! What's your inner being? (with beautiful pics)
Elf: You are a bit odd and a nature lover to the very core of your being. You'd rather spend your days hiking or picking flowers than in any city. People see you as "different", but in a very interesting and alluring way. You are peaceful by nature, but can get very dangerous when you feel an injustice has happened... especially to animals. People like you are rare, diamonds in the rough.

My Interests

Glitter Graphics
Myspace LayoutsI am such an animal lover, my friends have finally realized that they are not allowed to hurt the little animals without a darned good reason, and even then they don't do it in front of me. Plants and animals are living things too, they deserve a certain respect from us. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with eating the little animals, but just don't go out of your way to hurt them, theres no reason for it.

My other great love, aside from music and animals, is art. I love to paint and draw. My pictures usually turn out rather well, but I'm overall disappointed. I lack the creativity for any of my work to be held up to high standards. I can draw what I see, but no matter how clearly I see something with my mind's eye, I can't get it to come out right on paper. Somewhere in the middle the image gets lost in translations from the brain to the hand, but I'm working on it.

I'd like to meet:

My favorite person to meet would have to be Amy Lee. Her voice is just hauntingly beautiful and my favorite thing to sing at karaoke. Other than her I would love to run into Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, but I might get myself into trouble so I probably better stay away from those two.

Music:

Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, HIM, Nightwish, and nearly everything country. I'm not too picky with my music. Pretty much, so long as I can understand what they are saying, I like it.Inuyasha - Breaking the habit "LP"

Movies:

anything and everything. The greatest movie of all time, of course, is Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. Closely followed my Men in Tights(so many good quotes in that movie) I could watch those two movies everyday for the rest of my life. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, you name it. Ever After has to be the greatest movie ever, Drew Barrymore is awesome!

Television:

M*A*S*H* was just about the only show worth watching, after that I don't watch much, they took Charmed off the air. Recently I have become insanely addicted to Inuyasha. Its like crack, thanks Goat.Inuyasha - Kagome and Inuyasha Kiss.

Books:

Tolkien, Stephan King, Harry Potter, pretty much anything that is magicaly orientated. A series of books that I would recommend to nearly everyone: a set of 5 (so far) called Kushiel's Legacy, by Jacqueline Carey. It starts with Kushiel's Dart, from the viewpoint of a girl who is raised in a whorehouse, becomes a slave, a queen's ambassador, and a war hero. Everyone I spoke to in Iraq knows it as my "whips and chains and kinky things" books. They make a very....interesting read.
