About Me

Brad Armitage is one of those singers that many have said should have made several albums by now, one of those artists that should be more well known. Then are some that are glad that he still sings at their local pub on a sunday afternoon cause "it wouldnt be the same without him". Whatever people say about Brad, they all agree on one thing - he has one of the best most versatile voices on an "unknown" singer. With countless competition victories and top3 placings in many national singing competitions over the last ten years, with a trophy cabinet to prove it, he has always strived to compete against the best in the business. He's just been a bit unlucky as far as being noticed. Featured on ITV My Kind Of Music in 2000 where he sang "On the Wings Of Love" and won the jackpot prize on the musical quiz show.He applied for the X Factor programme (Series 3) in 2006, auditioning with his friend Darren Spence in a duo called 2-4-U. They got through the producer rounds and then got to sing in front of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne. Anyway we got through to Louis Walsh's Bootcamp which was held in London. The first day was tough and they were first to sing out of 36 groups but unfortunately were one of 20 groups cut on the day :-( Unfortunately their audition and performances at bootcamp were not shown at all which was quite upsetting at the time. To get good comments about your voice is something he aspired to acheive and he did and is thankful. "To have Simon Cowell's approval made it all worthwhile for me". We have performed at many large events and particularly weddings. Brad is currently training kickboxing and boxing which has always been an interest but singing is definately his priority! Currently he is receiving vocal coaching from David Grant from Fame Academy when he can.
