About Me

Shit I've Done and How I Roll-
I'm taking a moment to breathe, and return to my roots in the Gayborhood and wherever my talents take me...I am a trained singer, actor, and stand-up comic which are my true loves, but I also have a degree in JPRA (Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising) which has allowed me to have jobs as the editorial assistant for the Philadelphia Gay News, as the PR & Advertising Manager for Gay Live, and as a party planner for the City of Philadelphia. I've traveled across the country performing in both professional musical tours and for drag shows, and spend my down time and my energy to brighten the lives of my close friends. I love to cook, I love watching crazy documentaries on anything from Quantum Physics to new discoveries on the History/Discovery Channel, and I love to take each day to learn something new about myself and the world around me.
I was recently titled "Hardest Working Drag Queen" by Philadelphia's City Paper!-
WE GOT A WINNER!!! City Paper Choice Awards 2006! HARDEST WORKIN' DRAG QUEEN It was a stint with The Rocky Horror Picture Show that ultimately brought the world Brittany Lynn , aka Ian Morrison. This "vaginally challenged" 7-foot-tall dreamgal in falsies and a wig is mad busy hiring out members of her Drag Mafia, singing like a banshee at various nightclubs around the city and making guest appearances anywhere that'll have her. (www.justlypservice.com) —Megan M. Erwin
Last year I grabbed the title of "Best Drag Queen" Visions Today Magazine, won Miss Comedianne Philadelphia two years running, and was named "Casinoville's Favorite Drag Queen" by Atlantic City Weekly.
Right out of high school, I landed a year long stint as "Dr. Frank-N-Furter" in the Philadelphia Tour of "The Rocky Horror Show" (at the infamous TLA on South Street) was my first professionally paying theatre gig.
My second professional gig had me in heels for another year as "Alice the housekeeper" in the Philadelphia Production of the "Live Brady Bunch". While working at the T.G.I. Fridays on the Parkway, I actually waited on Ann B. Davis (Alice on the Brady Bunch Show)while she was on tour for "Funny Lady" at the Forrest Theatre, and had her autograph one of the tickets to my show. She complained to Sherwood Schwartz (the creator/producer of the Brady Bunch)about a guy playing her in DRAG, and she had the show shut down. The next time she came in to eat, I shoved her breadstick in my ass before serving to to her...
Now known as the "Vaginally Challenged Brittany Lynn," I have been seen throughout the tri-state area and across the country. I created and founded the Philadelphia "Drag Mafia", and my career has given me the opportunity to appear on MTV's TRL, and to appear on "Real World Philadelphia" (the show's season premier featured my Drag Mafia show at Shampoo-as well as the season finale's opening when Willie brought the cast to see my show for one last time and MJ threw a fit during my performance because my being in drag made him uncomfortable lol), independent films such as the "Lure of the four Fingered Klaw" as Sweetlips the Gay Gangster (I'm always so typecasted!), "In Bed With Butch", Reel Gay Video advertisements for Gay Disney, and for Circuit Videos for Gay Days at Great Adventure.
My biggest media whore moment was being featured on Fox 29 to millions of viewers during Barbara's Stresiand's Last Televised Concert as Babs herself.
Little known fact-Brittany Lynn is my little sister's name.
Brittany has performed and hosted at clubs and colleges, for circuit parties, benefits, pageants, drag shows-she's is like VISA, "everywhere you wanna be". Brittany has performed for in-store events at places such as HMV music, for the Philadelphia Mummers, for political events honoring the past two Philadelphia Mayors and the current Governor, and at the Gala opening of the new Philadelphia Convention Center as Babs and Liza.
The biggest and bestest moment of my career happened this year when I had the opportunity to open for my hero-Sandra Bernhard-on the opening night of her 2007 tour- BRITTANY LYNN AND SANDRA BERNHARD TEAR UP PHILLY AT PURE! SEEN IN CITY PAPER'S ICEPACK BY A.D. AMOROSI...(WE LOVE U A.D.!) ? WHOWHATWHERE: While Ian "Britany Lynn" Morrison was onstage at Pure doing his drag rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," Sandra Bernhard walked in, cheered and jumped on stage. "She wrapped her arm around me, I instinctively dropped to my knees and almost shoved my face in her crotch — it was very surreal," says Lynn. http://www.citypaper.net/articles/2007/01/25/icepack
MR. GAY PHILLY 2009!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet some chawld with a car and a job-someone who can hold intelligent conversation while remaining shackled to my bed. Someone who can keep up with my pace-and after all of the VIP stamps have worn off, and all of the papparattzi have stopped taking photos of us at the red carpets, this person would be someone who can then come home and curl up on the couch with me, put their feet up, watch some sick horror movies while ordering tons of take out, and enjoy some 420. Most importantly- The boy who gets my heart knows that I do not necessarily look for a complete package. I understand no one is perfect. I usually go for someone shorter than myself, with one feature on his face or body that I find irresistibly charming-I don't know what that exactly is, but I find that when I meet someone I like, I will say something like,"Oh my god he has such a cute nose," or "such pretty eyes," or that he has cute feet with cute toes-haha shut up I like cute feet and toes so fuck off lol... The boy who gets my heart will appreciate humor and knows that laughing keeps you young and is great for the spirit. Anyone who can make me laugh is a definite find in my book. The boy who gets my heart will be excited to see me, excited to talk to me, and excited to go places with me. The boy who gets my heart will enjoy the time we spend together, no matter how long or short those periods of time are. The boy who gets my heart will not be obsessed with the gay "scene" and can enjoy normal things in life like going to dinner, the movies, or to something entertaining like a show or to even an exhibit at a science institute or to an art museum. The boy who gets my heart will always be brutally honest, and not afraid to tell me the truth about anything, and can confide in me knowing that I will keep our conversations safely locked away, even in moments of anger. The boy who gets my heart will hold my hand in public. The boy who gets my heart will never be ashamed of me or my profession and will gladly announce to his friends and family that we are together. The boy who gets my heart will know that I will do everything in my ability to keep our relationship fun and exciting, and will do the same for me in return. The boy who gets my heart will always have a smile on his face because I'll be there keeping that smile alive during any situation. The boy who gets my heart will accept any flaws that I may have-and know in his heart that I do the same unconditionally, not that I have any secret flaws or some bullshit going on, but you never know what kinda bullshit can come up-haha... The boy who gets my heart will be a responsible adult with aspirations in life, but will be a child at heart and always willing to try new and fun things. I believe that when you find that special someone, you just know right then and there that this person is someone you want to get to know, someone you want to spend more time with, someone you can see for long periods of time and not be annoyed with, and someone who you want to know more about-This person will be in your mind, your heart, and your very being vibrates when you are around him. With all that being said-The boy who gets my heart will be one lucky bastard...:)
People see me in the club and see me dressed in drag as Brittany, and may not be able to realize that Brittany is just a totally made up character that allows me to relieve stress by acting like a total cunt while entertaining the masses. Not every club personality you meet has to have an overblown ego with deluded visions of grandeur and tons of emotional baggage-we are all here just to have a good time-So just DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE OR A USEBAG and it's all good...
