If you take the time to read this, you might just learn something.There is no pure soul in this world. Everyone, no matter how hard they fight it, has that inner darkness. Only a handful have the guts to embrace it, and truly be free. Don't deny the true essence of your soul. That nagging voice, that guilty pleasure, embrace it. Feed the beast. Know what it means to truly be alive. I am looking for anyone who has ever had to hide their true selves and their true desires from the world around them. I am looking for those who know what it is to feel that the world condemns them for their tastes. I welcome all comers. Whatever it is that lives in you, that haunts your dreams, that fuels your longing, I embrace it. You are the Forsaken, you are MY people. Come to me. Though the world around you may try to oppress you, be strong. They do not hate and despise you because you are Forsaken, because you are different. They hate and despise because they fear you. They see you openly embrace, in yourself, what it is they know lurks within their own souls. The dark seed, within themselves, that they fear, you nurture before their eyes. Even though you are the target of their hate, rest comfortably knowing that the one they truly hate is themselves. They hate themselves because they will never know the freedom that you and I share. They hate that they can never be Forsaken, and will live out their days as sheep to societies shepherd call. They hurt you because they do not understand. They hurt you out of ignorance. You look at me with pity, like somehow, I could be fixed. As though there were something wrong with me. There is nothing wrong with me. I'm not sick. My brain isn't short circuited. But that is what you tell yourselves, so that you can feel better. Your world is sunny and bright and it never rains there as long as you believe that people like me are abnormal. That people like me are sick. The truth is, I am just as normal as you. Open your eyes. Look around you. I am not alone. We are everywhere, in every walk of life. We exist among you, because we are you. Killing me won't clear the dark clouds in your skies. At best, you will gain momentary relief thinking that, for the time being one of your "monsters" is conquered. But those clouds will come back. Tomorrow, or the next day, but they will come back. They always do. But the perpetual state of denial you live in forbids you from seeing this. So, bring your hatred, bring your fear, bring your loathing. Give me your rage and your confusion. Make me the target of your ignorance, as you did those who came before me, and you will do to those who come after.
