hailing originally from the backwoods of central missouri, the payolaman has already made a name for himself drumming in various punk, surf, and rockabilly bands across the country. including LIFE CRISIS(san diego) SHADOWCASTERS(phoenix), FIGHTING COCKS(lawrence, kansas)PHIL HUMMER TRIO(nashville), MIDNIGHT NASTIES(missouri), THE BUZZBOMBS(san diego), and too many other bands he's just too burned out to remember. now doing his own solo brand of "punky-tonk-a-billy", johnnys songs deal with the grimmer side of life.
