Europa Classic Pro Show Dallas August 2008
How did i get into bodybuilding?
My love of sporting activities stretches back as far as i can remember. As a child i enjoyed dance, ballet and athletics. I rode horses, entering in cross country events. Loved down hill mountain bike riding through steep mountain ranges in victoria Australia and gained a blue belt in Shukokai karate. I would have to say i enjoyed the excitement, the adrenalin and the challenge of anything i could get involved in.
I started weight training when i was 17. I found i gained muscle easily and enjoyed the focus it gave me. Study and career took over and i trained recreationally over the years.
In 2006 i met my friends Brian and Michelle Hodous in the gym and it was then that i started training with dedication and intensity. I loved it, we made a great team and in July 2006 i went on to win my first show. Six shows - 4 firsts and the WFF Universe title later, I now aim to keep training, improve as much as i can and carry on with the success i've reach so far.
Bodybuilding and competing has been a brilliant learning experience of the body and mind. Its dedication and focus is a recipe for success which I apply in my day to day life and career. It has created pportunity in TV, film and media, having appeared in the UK's Soccer AM, several BBC TV productions and a feature article in December / Janurary's Weider publication Muscle and Fitness Magazine to be
released in the UK and Australia 2007-2008.
Stay tuned, the story hasn't ended yet.......
