Like I said earlier, I'm interested in music. It's a huge part of my life and I don't think anything is ever going to change that. I like almost every kind of music, and even if I don't like it, I can usually respect it. I also love watching movies; if I'm home by myself I'm either listening to music or watching a movie, or maybe even both.
I don't know if I'd really like to meet anyone...I've got tons of friends, I have the love of my life, I have family...I guess I wouldn't mind meeting some people from the past though. I mean, some people I've gotten out of touch with maybe. I suppose I'd like to meet some people from bands or from TV shows or movies. That'd be kind of cool to meet some famous people...as long as they're not assholes...
Music...I love it! I've become a vinyl record collector in the past few years. I now own 1,177 vinyl records...not counting the 45s I have. I've catalogued them all; alphabetically with pictures of them all on my hard drive. Some call it nerdy…I call it love. I've also been "collecting" CDs since I've been able. The first CD I ever bought was Toadies "Rubberneck"...great record! Now I own 1,294. I've also catalogued them alphabetically with photos on my hard drive. Some call it anal…I call it love.
As I said before I love movies as well as music. I suppose I'm a collector of those as well. 875 in all, I've become my own little Blockbuster...as a matter of fact I've made "ScottBuster" cards for a few of my friends. I can't really tell you my favorite movie of all time; I don't even want to go into what movies I really like. Just know that I like them. Also, some friends and my wife and I have taken on the task of watching all of the AFI Top 100 Movies Of All Time. for those of you who don't know The AFI is the American Film Institute. Back about 11 years ago they put together a list of te 100 best films of all time. In this last year they have updated that list and we're now watching the new and improved and updated list. If you're interested just google the AFI's Top 100 Movies.
Television isn't something I really get into very easily...I find it hard to wait 7 days to see what happens next. I usually watch TV shows that are available on DVD. Emily and I have gotten into Lost, Heroes, House, The Office...I know there's more but I can't think of them.
I usually like the non-fiction section of Borders but like everyone else in the world I got sucked into the Harry Potter series. I love it. I waited at Borders until midnight to get my copy of the finally chapter of the H.P. Saga as we like to call it. When I say we I mean Me, Myself and I. I don't think anyone else calls it that. Anyway, I love the books they're really amazing. I like biographies, autobiographies...I think its just fun living someone else's life for 500 or so pages.
Heroes, I can't really begin to know who to say. I've got a bunch I suppose...some real, some fictional, some I know very little about.
