My band experience began in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where i was born & raised, playing Organ with "Funk" and R&B bands (imitating the GREATEST FUNK BAND ever "FUNKADELIC" the greatest show on earth) performing in night clubs, dance halls, concerts, etc. in cities and towns in the tri-state area of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. While living in the Los Angeles area i've been playing Jazz and Blues with various musicians.Now I have teamed up with some talented musician friends. Our repertoire consists of the Bluesy side of Jazz, the Funky sounds of Soul Jazz & some familiar Jazz Standards with emphasis on improvising to display dynamic solos and exciting rhythms for your listening pleasure.(Jazz Blues is a musical style that combines Jazz and Blues. The term also refers to any tune that follows the standard 12-bar Blues chord progression, whilst being played in the Jazz style.)(Soul Jazz was a development of hard bop which incorporated strong influences from blues, gospel and rhythm & blues in music for small groups, which featured the Hammond Organ.) (A Jazz Standard is a Jazz tune that is held in continuing esteem and which is widely known, performed, and recorded among Jazz musicians as part of the Jazz musical repertoire. There are different Jazz standards for the different musical styles.)We are available for Jazz Venues, Blues Venues, Happy Hours, Hotel Lounges & Bars, Casino Lounges, Supper Clubs, Restaurants, Jazz & Blues Festivals, Jazz & Blues Concerts, Private Parties and Wedding Receptions.
