Graham Sparkman

About Me

Graham Sparkman was raised in the small southern appalachian town of Hazard Kentucky. He considers it an honor to be a fourth generation Mountain Musician. His Great-Grandmother Elizabeth Amburgey Sparkman played Clawhammer style Banjo, his Grandfather Ernest Sparkman headed up 'The Kentucky Hilltoppers' in 1948 with fiddle player Bobby Sumner. Graham's Father, Faron, was the lead guitar player for Top-Ten Gospel group 'The Cornerstones.' Graham now lives with his beautiful wife of six years in Lexington Kentucky. Faith, Family, and freinds are whats most inportant to Graham. He looks forward to meeting up and recording with other Mountain Musicians. "My great grandfather John Sparkman was an old regular baptist preacher. Those same roots of faith are alive and well in my family today, and it is my prayer that the light of Jesus will shine on in my family for many generations to come."
