The song you hear is basically a rough demo recording from the 1st year of their formation (Oct. '06 - Jan. '08). This is just a taste of what they started with.
The 5 piece band begun it's journey when Eric Baker met David Boyanton through Eric's cousin, who was David's girlfriend at the time. They discussed music among other things. They decided to get together one night and see what can be produced from Eric's ideas. Through MySpace friends, David heard about Niko Sudzum. Starlin Jeffrey (Eric's girlfriend) ran into Niko at a service station one evening and proposed the idea about trying out for the band. He accepted and so did they. Eric knew his cousin, Brandon Baker, had a bass and so he pretty much had to beg him to give the band a try. They still didn't have vocals, but Brandon was optioned for it. Problems with attendance were an issue. Starlin mainly sang for practice purposes, but then she became the full-time vocalist instead of Brandon. After Brandon disbanded, others appeared to have lost interest and so one by one, the band started falling apart, but mostly on good terms.
Even though BIPOLARITY is on an unknown amount of downtime, Eric will still keep the idea alive until new members come forth and/or old members come back to the fold. The music and direction has changed as Eric is still working on music for the lyrics that were written during their time together and after. Who knows what the future holds...
Eric Baker is working on an acoustic solo project under the stage name ESEAN (pronounced --- E / Shawn). If the solo project is what it takes for him to find other musicians for Bipolarity, then so be it.
