Falling is an old ideal rising like a phoenix out of ash and earth. Our efforts in part are to bring back all that is good and kind to an industry that has long forsaken its purpose. Music is a gift and a blessing a universal language that was once used for meditation, prayer and healing. It has become an industry with a hunger and greed that is never satisfied no matter how many billions of dollars it receives from its contributors. The cost to keep this monster at bay is the artisans and musicians, their gifts, spiritual health and physical well being. We at Falling are not interested in perpetuating that gross negligence towards artisans. Falling is to be owned by the artists and the artists will in turn tithe a portion of their earnings back to Falling. Rather then the record company allotting a percentage of the artists gross earnings after all expenses back to the artist, band, ensemble or performance group. There are no cash advances available and all recording, touring and merchandise costs are the responsibility of the artist, band, ensemble or performance group. In addition, Falling Rock Star Records is not prejudice, ageist or bias towards any style of music, artists, and cultural, spiritual or national backgrounds. However, there is a zero tolerance policy and clause to any substance abuse or drunkenness while working, touring, performing and or representing Falling. What one does on their own time is their business but anyone entering into a covenant with Falling who does not abide and honor their contractual word will be asked to resign from the Falling family of artists. If any losses are incurred, a fine of no less and no more then the law permits will be imposed on the artist, band, and ensemble or performance group. Simply put, the Falling Rock Star Records foundation and principle stems from love and peace.
