The Smokin’ Rickshaws are burning up South Florida with a style that will keep your ass shaking all night. Funk-rock-jazz with blues highlights treat your ears to a unique listening experience. The group is a power three piece (Drums Bass Guitar). Casey White is right on target with the bass, skillfully manipulating the music into a funky mesh that will shake you to the core. He has played in several local bands but is now in full support of The Smokin’ Rickshaws mission to spread enjoyable music. Tate Earle adds his original compositions to this medley along with funky guitar licks and inspirational lyrics. Earle is from Vermont where he attained his BA in music and toured throughout New England. The Drummer is Erik San Julian is a rhythmic veteran, his skills that fit perfectly with the Rickshaw style. Erik’s groove enhances the music and creates the back bone to which your ears will constantly return. The newest member of the group is Jeff Iorio who compliments the funky grooves on the ivory's. Long time florida rocker, Iorio lights the keas on fire blazing a new niche in the Rickshaw’s former three piece style. While preferring to indulge in the creative aspects of original music The Smokin’ Rickshaws will also throw out some covers when the mood is right. Covers you may hear are by many influences, such as Beatles, Marley, Dylan, Dead, G-Love, Jack Johnson, The Band and many more greats. If you made it this far, I would like to thank you for your interest in the band... make
