F@mou$ But Idiot$(RIP 06-07)

Famous But Idiots officially came to life in January 2007 when Marianne(vocals) and Jordanne(drums Jan.07-Sept.07) joined the band, but the beginning is set months ago. In August 2006, guitarist Louis and bassist/vocalist Bob's punkcore band's singer walked out of the band for several reasons. This band was The First Drop. Thereafter, the 3 remaining guys, Bob(bass), Louis(guitar) and Marc(TFD drummer), managed to find a new singer, but never succeeded. In october, Bob decided it was now time to move on, to create a new project that would maybe get more luck. The other thing was, they had all musically growed and were tired of fast songs with the same old powerchords, always the same rythm, and finally, they were tired of playing garage music. They remained 3 and created Famous But idiots. They put some adds on quebecpunkscene.net to find a vocalist. Between what they only practiced from times to times, with no significant material. They quickly noticed that Marc's younger age was closing some doors for the band so they put him out of the project and looked for a new drummer. They posted more adds and got answers like Jordanne's in december 2006 and Marianne's in January 2007. They first tried Jordanne out, then Marianne 2 weeks later. Surprisingly, the 4 of them were gifted with the same appreciation for bad jokes and their musical influences created a unique mix. They promptly begin to compose and play some cover, first to practice themselves to play together and next just for the hell of playing songs from bands they love and respect. In september 2007, Jo leave the band. The 3 remaining member try to find a new drummer without succeed.
